I know that processed food has a lot of junk added to it  for a longer shelf life as awaits its purchasing. But I really didn’t think that processed sugar would be so bloody ubiquitous. Claire and I had to change the parameters of  the challenge to include some of the foods with less than 3 grams of sugar a serving.

The funny thing is that the foods that have processed sugar in them, most likely don’t need them: That is taste-wise, you could find an alternative that is just as satisfying to your taste buds as well as your pancreas.

This is no new revelation, but it’s simply something that I became very aware of during this challenge.
